Her Tears
Amidst the gentle breeze,
She stands in solitude
Gazing at the stars above her
In silent wonder and hope.
Her purpose lost in silence,
She awaits no fate to come.
A mere thought would bring to her
What a lifetime could not.
She believes not in reason,
Gives in not to mortal fears,
But feels mortal sorrow within,
nd drowns the world in her tears.
Her heart seeks no justice
That awaits her wizened smile.
A smile not witnessed
By mortal eyes before.
Her eyes, the only windows
Into her pure, troubled soul.
A soul that longs for salvation
That would never be found.
And She shall not find love
As the eternal end nears,
And so hides the smile that never was,
To drown the world in her tears.
