Words

They resonate, bound
Not to a purpose that
Intentions governed by reason.
Their paths direct and
Their destination found;
They portray justice or treason.

They may be truths
When you confide,
Or they may be your lies.
They may be signs
Which you convey,or
They may be your pleas; your cries.

They may be your
Hopes and dreams,
Left unfulfilled by far.
They may be your
Mask to truly conceal,
The man you truly are.

One always can
Erase what is written.
It follows not with what is heard.
They are forever to
Be slaves to memory.
They are merely careless words.
